A recognized expertise
With 35 years of experience in Research & Development and IT innovations, including 25 years at the service of the disabled, I share this knowledge and the results of my work with you.
Very often the research and development done to compensate for handicaps leads to widely used "mainstream" applications. This is the case of the telephone (Alexander Graham Bell), home automation, remote control, voice synthesis, among others. This is the case with ABRI as well – a piece of software originally designed for people with physical disabilities, which is also useful for able-bodied older people thanks to its highly intuitive interface and ease of use.
Based on a strong experience gathered over the years, and reinforced by university contributions in Cognitive Engineering and Interface Semiotics, my work facilitates human-computer interactions by providing the end-user with simple, logical and coherent devices. (Affordance)
